Exporting OKR Data from Rhythms

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Rhythms gives you two ways to export your OKR data: directly from the OKR grid, or by asking the AI assistant in chat. Use whichever fits your workflow.

Export from Chat (New)

The fastest way to export is to ask the AI assistant directly in chat. You can export any OKR Grid view to PowerPoint or Word, or any document to Word — without navigating through menus.

How to export via chat

Open any chat thread and ask. Examples:

  • "Export the current OKR grid as a PowerPoint"

  • "Create a Word doc of our Q2 objectives"

  • "Export the Engineering team OKRs filtered to At Risk as a PowerPoint"

  • "Export the Q3 Business Review document as a Word file"

The assistant will: 1. Confirm what it will export and in what format 2. Generate the file 3. Deliver it directly into the chat conversation as a downloadable file

You can specify a saved view, describe a filter combination, or work from whatever is currently visible in your grid. The assistant handles the rest.

Supported export formats via chat: - OKR Grid views → PowerPoint (.pptx) or Word (.docx) - Documents → Word (.docx)

PowerPoint exports use proper visual hierarchy, accent colors, and card layouts — no walls of bullet points. If your workspace has a branded template, your colors, fonts, and visuals are applied automatically.

Export to Excel (from the OKR Grid)

For raw data exports in spreadsheet format, use the export button in the OKR grid.

Step 1: Open the OKR grid

Start from the Rhythms home screen where your OKRs are displayed. Use the filters to choose which OKRs you want to export — filter by owner, team, time period, etc.

Step 2: Trigger the menu with export options

Click the ellipsis in the top right corner next to 'Share', triggering a dropdown menu.

Step 3: Initiate the export

Click the Export to Excel button in the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Choose export options

In the export dialog, select:

  • Export top-level items — includes immediate objectives, key results, and initiatives; use for high-level data without detailed breakdowns

  • Export all child items — includes all child objectives and their key results and initiatives; use for a comprehensive export with all hierarchical relationships preserved

Step 5: Download

Click Export. Rhythms generates and downloads a CSV file containing your exported data.

Understanding Your Exported Data

Exported CSV files contain all essential OKR information: Titles, Goal Type (Objective, key Result, or Initiative), Labels, Owners, Delegates, Contribution Percent, Teams, Status, Progress Percentage, Last Check-In Time, Last Check-in Note, Alignment, Time Periods, Score, and Short Goal ID.
