Exporting OKR Data from Rhythms

Updated over 6 months ago

Introduction

Rhythms allows you to easily export your OKRs data to Excel for offline analysis, reporting, or sharing with stakeholders outside the platform. This guide will walk you through the export process and available options.

How to Export OKRs to Excel

Step 1: Access the OKRs Dashboard

Start from the Rhythms home screen where your company's OKRs are displayed. Use the filters to choose which OKRs you want to export. You can filter by owner, team, time period etc.

Step 2: Initiate the Export

Click the "Export to Excel" button located in the upper right corner of the dashboard.

Step 3: Choose Export Options

In the export dialog box, you'll have two main options:

  • Export top-level items: This includes immediate objectives, key results, and initiatives. Select this option if you only need high-level data without detailed breakdowns.

  • Export all child items: This includes all child objectives along with their key results and initiatives. Choose this option for a comprehensive export with all hierarchical relationships preserved.

Step 4: Complete Export

After selecting your preferred option, click the "Export" button at the bottom of the dialog. Rhythms will generate and download a zip file containing your Excel export. You'll need to unzip this file to access the Excel spreadsheet inside.

Understanding Your Exported Data

Your exported file contains all essential OKR information including titles, types (objective, key result, or initiative), owners, teams, status, progress percentages, last update timestamps, alignment details, time periods, dates, and performance scores. This comprehensive data allows for easy analysis and reporting in Excel.
