This week: Switch chat models right from Slack, and Ask Rhythms about any document selection — plus @mention highlights, a smarter label picker, goal-close prompts, and fuzzy Library search.

New Features

💻 Ask Rhythms About a Selection

Selecting text in a document already carries it into chat as context. What's new is a one-click way to act on it: select a passage → click Ask Rhythms in the bubble menu → the chat panel opens with your selection already loaded, ready for a follow-up, a rewrite, or more context. If chat is already open, your selection attaches automatically as you select it — no button needed.

Try it: Open any document → highlight a paragraph → click Ask Rhythms in the bubble menu (or, if chat is already open, just start typing).

Key Improvements

  • Switch chat models from Slack — The Web model selector now has a Slack counterpart: run /model to pick the AI model powering your Rhythms conversations, or just ask Rhythms directly ("switch to GPT-5"). Your preference sticks per-thread.

  • Spot when you're mentioned, instantly — Mentions of you now render with a yellow highlight in documents and comments, matching Slack's visual language, so you never scroll past a tag meant for you.

  • See your filtered count, select it all — Knowing how many items are in a filtered OKR view used to mean counting by hand. List and explorer views now show a visible item count and a Select All checkbox at the top, so bulk actions are one click away.

  • Find your labels without searching — The label picker now surfaces your most recently used labels first, so a label you apply constantly doesn't need a search every time. The picker also holds a fixed size, so it no longer grows to fill the screen on long lists.

  • Never lose track of a goal at target — Goals used to sit silently at 100% with no nudge to close them out. Now, when a Key Result hits target, Rhythms prompts you to close it or keep tracking.

  • Find documents even with a typo — Library search now uses fuzzy matching, so an approximate or misspelled term still finds the right document. Sorting by Name, Created, and Last Updated also stays correct while a search term is active.

  • Get access without asking around — When the chat agent @mentions someone who can't see a document, it now proactively offers to grant them view access, right in the conversation — no separate sharing step needed.
