# December 25, 2025 Release Notes

This week brings enhancements to goal creation workflows, onboarding experience, and check-in quality. We've added draft state for goals, improved AI-generated check-ins with integration data, and streamlined the activity feed.

## Improvements

* **Draft State for Goals**: Create and refine goals privately before publishing them to your organization, with AI-powered drafting assistance that helps structure clear, compelling objectives before making them visible to stakeholders
* **Default Favorites for New Users**: New users automatically receive personalized default favorites on first login, including "My Goals" and relevant team dashboards, eliminating initial setup friction and accelerating time-to-value
* **Auto-Update Check-ins**: AI-generated check-in notes now pull in relevant information from linked integrations, making it easier to create comprehensive progress updates that reflect activity across multiple platforms
* **Rollup Calculations**: Parent goals now calculate aggregated progress more accurately when child objectives use different measurement methods, helping you track portfolio-level progress with confidence
* **Activity Feed**: Cleaner timeline design groups related changes together and consolidates notifications, making it easier to follow important updates without information overload

## Fixes

* **Check-in Form**: Validation and error messaging provide clearer guidance, ensuring smooth submission workflows when creating or updating progress

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.rhythms.ai/release-notes/december-25-2025-release-notes.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `build a script that syncs our docs to a CMS` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
